Best Guy Friend vs Boyfriend

As girls, we are attracted to the opposite sex, ie guys. Often is the case that, we girls treat some guy friends as our best guy friends, perhaps one guy in particular. Thus, what is the difference between your best guy friend and your boyfriend? A guy and a girl may always be spending time together, talking about anything under the sky, sharing their feelings and thoughts nonchalantly; and claim themselves as "best friends". Another couple may do exactly the same, however, they are "boyfriend girlfriend". Maybe, the only difference is in the word "commitment": it is moderate or weak in best friends, a bit stronger in boyfriend girlfriend stage, and very strong in marriage. Therefore, doesn't it seem good to have many best guy friends rather than a boyfriend? It is back to another form of discussion, quality or quantity. Because, knowing that a girl has a boyfriend, guys would think twice even being good friends with her, but didn't stop themselves from being best friends with some other girls whose relationship with guys are only known as "best friends", which in fact, do not differ from some "boyfriend girlfriend" relationships except only by the "commitment" thingy. I really like those guys who have respect for each and every girls, who treat girls equally as "girls", NOT "girls with boyfriend" nor "girls without boyfriend but with best guy friends".. I respect and salute them!! =)

xian yu family intro

Why are we called "xian yu family"? It started out of nowhere, not that any of us are linked to salty fish or what. It all originated during our KK trip - which was my 1st trip to KK, & 1st trip with friends.

The family members consist of xian yu (GT), xian cai (Edwin), xian dan (Kevin), & 3 lovely mei ren yu (me, Tze Fair, Shan Shan).

xian yu (GT)
This is GT. He is the eldest, so i purposely chose a "dai kor" pic of him.. to enhance this image of him. Although he looks so "dai kor", he acts and thinks very childishly, and likes to gives humorous but childish (ok, witty) comments/jokes, that leads me thinking he is so kiddy but so smart. He likes to think of himself as "cute", which actually I'm much more cuter =p . A commendable personality of him is patience. He would listen to me or TFair (the chatterboxes) talking non-stop and won't get tired of us, rather, giving responses periodically saying "uh", "um", or giggles. That's why people like to talk to him, i guess.

xian cai (Edwin)


A very fun guy who is now an inactive member of xian yu family. Why? 1stly because he's not Mirian, 2ndly he is now in Perth. He has contributed a lot during our KK trip! His apartment, his car.. He is like our "daddy" during the trip.. he drives us everywhere in his comfortable black CRV. Without him, our KK trip would not be as fun & memorable. Thus I wanna say a BIG thank you to him! Sadly, he missed all the fun we had here now, because all our outings and yam cha were without him in Miri here.. Nevertheless, Edwin, you will still always be a memorable part of xian yu family, always and forever, and we welcome you back to us anytime, anywhere, if we ever had the chance to meet up again .....
Something about him:
Despite being a "daddy" during our KK trip, he came home everyday being a "kid"! I said so because, 1, he always play computer games late into the night; 2, he calls bomba when there is a spider in the bathroom.
He likes to play badminton so much in that I suggested him to play using his left arm since he has to put his right arm to rest.. I hope his arm is ok by now. Do take care of yourself k?

xian dan (Kevin)

An extremely "i don't care" boy.. his t-shirt also speaks for him of this attitude [Seriously, he even wore this "Do I Look Like I Care?" as shown in the pic when we celebrated his birthday for him!] Frankly, when I got to know him, I was rather annoyed by him.. He would look sideways when talking to me.. seldom talks to me..& he didn't greet me when we meet.. in short, I thought he didn't respect me.. But then I came to know that this is his personality .. perhaps a little unfriendly which i couldn't get used to having a friend like that.. but I have learnt..to accept him for who he is... And now I can proclaim that he has changed a lot, really, at least he would greet me & look at me when talking to me, but I don't think he ever initiated any conversation with me personally, well, at least he would talk to me "normally" now. How can I blame him? He even said he is not "masak" with Edwin having the fact that we had a 1 week KK trip together, experiencing all the ups and downs together!
Kevin is going to Perth very soon to do his Masters. He's very smart, undeniably. Wish you all the best in your future undertakings in Perth!! A part of you..will always be with us ...(from S-Club 7 Never Had A Dream Come True)

mei ren yu No.2(Tze Fair)

A girl full of energetic!! She likes to talk - a lot! She has such a sweet, beautiful voice so it doesn't matter that she talks and talks without getting tired. We can talk on the phone for hours - in fact, she can talk to anyone, for hours. She is a super friendly girl, anyone (yes, anyone! any strangers too) whom she 1st met would be like old friends to her.. I suddenly feel she's my best friend even from the 1st time we knew each other..incredible!! Even my bro says she is so kind and good. She makes people feel so warm and welcomed.. She is such a caring girl which made me feel so xin fu! She takes care of people's feelings a lot. Love you, Fair! Feel so blessed to have you as my friend. You are such a wonderful, true friend whom anyone would want to treasure, forevermore.

mei ren yu No.3(Shan Shan)

A very sweet girl who has beautiful voice as well as beautiful appearance. Our brothers are good friends too. She has almost the same taste as me in beauty judgmental. She is super excellent in her studies, setting extremely high standards for herself, and taking the pride in achieving them. How admiring, right? But alas, no, she is not a bookworm, she is a work hard, play hard person (just like me :p) .. She gets along well with people, and has many many friends.

1. WHAT - An XH blog.. Gonna blog about my 'xian yu' family, friends, work, songs, thoughts, or anything that interests me or may interest you ..
   
2. WHO - I'm inspired by my best friend LiNa upon her creating her own blog, that's why I thought of creating 1 too..
3. WHY - I can say i'm quite excellent in writing since young, but now, long time without practising, the skill deteriorated a lot.. so now i'm here to slowly, slowly bring back my little humble skills that has been gifted by God..
